NLRB Rulings Let Workers Down

Workers Rights Watch Eye on the NLRBTwo recent decisions issued by the National Labor Relations Board illustrate just how hard it is for workers to form unions, and how little employers are held accountable for their anti-union actions.

Workers and employers who use voluntary recognition, a peaceful and efficient method to recognize a union, have been undermined by the Bush-appointed members of the NLRB.

Wal-Mart prevented workers in Nevada from forming a union, but it took seven years for the NLRB to find the company guilty—and fine them only a few thousand dollars.
